Smoothies Post Class

I often talk post-class about the importance of getting nutrition into your system quickly after class for optimal recovery. 

 

Personally, I have a smoothie within 30 minutes of our class so that my energy stores are replenished quickly. For me, it leaves me feeling alert and energized, rather than depleted and tired. 

 

This week I'm sharing some of my favourite tried & true smoothie recipes.

Nut Butter and Banana

1 Banana
1⁄4 Avocado
3 Dates
1 Tbsp of Nut Butter
1 3⁄4 Cups Milk of Choice 

2 Tsp of Cocoa Nibs or Powder

Wake Up

3⁄4 Cup of Coffee
1 Tsp of Chia Seeds
1 Banana
3⁄4 Cups of Coconut Milk 

1 Scoop of Cashews
1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
4 Dates

Green Giant

1 Cup of Coconut Water 

1 1/2 Cup of Spinach 

1 Banana
1⁄2 Green Apple

1 Tsp of Ginger

 

Blue Giant

1 Cup of Blueberries
1⁄2 Banana
1 Cup of Spinach
1 & 1⁄2 Cup of Coconut Milk 1⁄4 Tsp of Spirulina
